Our Journey
We began this journey as the LK Domain Registry, established in 1990 to manage Sri Lanka’s “.lk” domain. But we wanted our work had to go beyond just domain names. From the start, we’ve been driven by a bigger purpose to help people across Sri Lanka tap into the power of the internet. Through our Partnership Division and e-Learning Division, we’ve launched nationwide programs to improve digital skills, expand access to technology, and support safe and meaningful online experiences. What started as a mandate requirement soon became a social one and that’s how Foundation.lk came to life.

Cyber Lowata Piyapath: Building their own school website Project
In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Webcomms Global (Pvt) Ltd., we launched Cyber Lowata Piyapath, a project whose goal was to train students to design and deliver a dedicated website for every government school in Sri Lanka.
